Making a Call

Where To Initiate It
You can make a call to a lead/contact by clicking the Phone icon on the Lead List, the Lead Detail, or the Contact Detail.


Call Process
When you click on the phone icon, the system will use Twilio to initiate the call and a dialog will pop up like the one below:
This shows the name of the person you are calling as well as their number.

The blue microphone icon will toggle muting your microphone.
Â
You can end the call at any time by clicking the “Leave” button.
Â
Whether the contact hangs up or you click the “Leave” button, you will be taken to a screen to enter a log for the call.
Â
There is also a number pad for use when you are calling another phone system that needs input like a phone directory.
On this screen you specify the status of the call, whether it was a Success, No Answer, or Left Voicemail.

You can enter any additional comments about the call as well.

If you close the window without clicking “Save Message“, then a call log will not be created.
Â
Once you click the “Save Message” button it will create the call log in the Calls tab in the Lead detail.
