HomeQuest Partners with Clients to Create Happy Holidays for Nearly 100 Families in Need

HomeQuest and it’s sister company J & H Asset Property Management Inc. helped to create a little holiday magic for nearly 100 families in need this holiday season. In what has become an annual tradition, HomeQuest and J & H have partnered with dozens of their clients who own manufactured home communities to donate more than $78,000 in gifts, grocery store certificates, and other store gift cards to their residents in need.

HomeQuest and J & H, along with many of their community owner clients, have donated gifts to 92 families throughout the Western U.S., 66 of whom live in Southern California. Community park owners at Janzen Mobile Village in Loma Linda, Greenbrier Mobile Estates in Santa Clarita, and Mira Vista Mobile Home Estates in Lakeside, contributed additional funds, taking the total donations to over $100,000.

Every October, HomeQuest and J & H reach out to the managers in the manufactured home communities they serve, and families and individuals in need are nominated by the manager and “adopted” by the companies and community owners as a way of directly giving back to the communities they serve. Although the companies began adopting families through local churches 20 years ago, they have donated nearly $240,000 in wrapped gifts, gift certificates, and even rent assistance to families in their own communities since 2015.

“Since the pandemic began, we’ve seen a significant increase of families in need,” said Shane Joffe, General Manager of HomeQuest. “The Adopt-a-Family program is a special holiday tradition that is more important than ever as inflation is on the rise and people continue struggling to make ends meet.”

“We’re excited to continue this holiday tradition and give to others in need, which is the true spirit of the season.”

More than 120 bikes, skateboards, scooters, and other toys were donated to local families in need by the owner of Janzen Mobile Village in Loma Linda, with assistance from Yorba Linda-based manufactured home retailer HomeQuest and its sister company, property manager J & H Asset Property Management Inc.

Similar donations were made to multiple manufactured housing communities throughout Southern California that they serve.
